PROBLEMS


We bought a bed from the novi store in oct 2004 great stuff never had a problem untill now 4 1/2 years later we bought a 3 in 1 crib,and the bed rails for the full bed converson at the same time. When we got them we look at them to make sure they were the correct color and they were, all was fine until now when we go to put the full bed togeather and the rails do not fit they are wrong they sold us the wrong ones and are telling us that we have to deal with the manufactor because they are the one's they told them to sell with it. Well it has been over a week and one has ever called back after a number of calls to Stephanie am still no were she keeps saying that she has to talk to sorelle (the company that makes that crib) to find out what to do because they are running into this problem so we are not the first. so if you buy from here check everything when you get it because it will be hard to do later.

Hey Bigzipmarine, did you ever figure out what rail you needed for the Christine Crib? We bought the same crib from The Baby's Room in Auburn Hills and are having the same problem right now. The toddler rail (112?) they sold us does not fit - it is too short.
Their customer service has always been horrible and have basically told us we are out of luck

Amazing to read your complaint because we had the EXACT same problem at the same time. Bought Christine Sorelle convertable crib with the conversion rails in Aug 2004 and when we went to put it together in Nov 2008 we found they did not work. Originally they told us they would refund the money for the cost of the rail kit. Got the run around for 6 months. Finally they said no they would not give any refund - wasn't their problem. did arrange for us to get another rail kit that was suppose to work with our crib (ours was discontinued and no parts left) but we are trying it now and it still doesn't work. While I love the look of the furniture, the manufacturer has been very unhelpful so in addition to steering clear of this store (which appears to be out of business now anyway?) I would not recommend a product from Sorelle. Did you ever get a resolution to your issue?

We have also had numerous problems with the Baby's Room in Novi, MI. The sales clerk, Stephanie and the owner, Emory Keathley are the most uncooperative people to deal with. We purchased a Munire crib and dresser along with a glider in the fall of 2008 (baby was born in Nov) and the finish is wearing off of the dresser already. This is supposed to be our sons furniture for many years since we also purchased the bed conversion kits. Well they wanted to send me a pen to rub on the furniture! I want them to fix it or replace it. Emory says it is my fault, my furniture and I can "deal with it". He also said this is normal for baby furniture. It is supposed to wear off! What ever you do, do not shop here.
